Brent , Candy and Ava smoked the channel cat today on Fork. Not long into the trip I was informed who was running the show. Ava the granddaughter had it all covered. She did really well all day reeling in some nice fish and caught several all by herself. According to her , she caught 35 of the 75 today. We all joked, laughed , and caught fish. Candy was able to learn how to feel the bites better with Stubbys Cheesebait. Many many times they were getting it before it got to the bottom. One of those days that the hard work feels like it pays off. Especially when a 7 year old stayed focused 95% of the trip and had fun. We all had fun. I’m gonna post a few pics. Brent posted some earlier so these may be repeats.

Great fish. Great smiles. Great memories. Time to warm up the fryer.
