I currently have an eagle cuda 128, and I hate it its only good for depth and temp. I would like to ask you experts as to which units yall are using and how good they are.I want to be able to distinguish between fish and structure and you cant with the 128. I don't want to spend more than a couple hundred dollars, and I don't want to waste my time either. I greatly appreciate every bodies input, and if you have a good one for sale let know.
thanks Stephen

Best $189 for you is the Eagle Fishmark 480. I have it on my console, and have the 320 on my trolling motor. They are top quality at a great price. You'll hear this from many other TFFr's as well.

You can go to my website and see some actual screen shots of brush and fish under the "Graphic Images" link wink

Hope this helps!

I have a 480 on my t/m and it does the job. I agree with Brian, you can't go wrong with the Eagle.

I think I saw a flyer from BPS this weekend that has the Fishmark 320 on sale for $129 I believe.

Great units, the 320 and the 480. You can't go wrong with either one of them.

The 320 is on sale at BPS for $129. If you have an Academy store closer to you they might match the price. They have for me in the past.....all you have to do is ask.

crappiefishnfool,

I would go with the fish easy 320c. I have the 480 and it is fine as everyone is saying but I like the 320c better. Go with a color unit if you can afford it. You won't regret it. I saw it on BPS' website for 229.00 fish

Go with an Eagle unit, can't go wrong in the price range.

the 480 is a great graph but if you can swing the color you will like it more! It shows just a little better picture and is easier to see on the sunny days.

I have been looking at the 320 for awhile and have reconsidered the 480 and 320c due to this thread.

Based on the specs the 320 and 480 both have larger screens than the 320c. The 480 also has 50% more resolution than the 320. Does this not help? It sounds like the color option might be worth more than screen size and resolution. The attached specs were copied from www.eaglegps.com

Any thoughts?

I have the 320 & the 480 on a tracker. I like them both.

Looks like three of the guides already posted like the 480.

The guide in my neck of the world uses Humminbird. (I take my life in my own hands when I mention the H-word on this forum... smile ) When you get above the $500 threshold, I will go with Humminbird. Below $500 I will go with Eagle.

Before any one tease me about having two Lowrance LCX17M on my boat... I only have them due to finding them on sale... wink (I actually like them for what they do but I would rather have a nice H-word...)
