There is some confusion about college football players going on here.
Colleges would pay millions a year for players of that quality. By rules they can't.
Chuba can go wherever he wants but he'll have to sit out and pay his own way for a year, I believe. He has already redshirted.
College coaches are under scrutiny and are a public figure. They, like the players, have standards. I don't understand why he needs to publicize his choice for news but he's an adult.

I did not consider that but if I got a shirt I felt was not good for me to wear it would not make it to my dresser. Coach has the right to wear whatever he wants. He has spoken up for OAN before so the kids reaction was spur of the moment or he just didn't know. “I tell you what's funny is, I was flipping through stations. I found one — I don't even know if anybody knows about this — it's called OAN,” Gundy said. “It's One America News. And it was so refreshing. They just report the news. There's no commentary. There's no opinions on this. There's no left. There's no right. They just reported the news. And I've been watching them the last week, because they're given us the news and given us more information — in my opinion — some of the positives are coming out. So, that was refreshing.” I have listened to a little from OAN. To coach, C'mon man! You kidding me!

I am probably going to be blasted for saying this,but why couldn't the school sue these players for not living up to a contract {scholarship} by not playing. While I am sure a liberal judge would rule in favor of the student it at least would maybe send a message of enough is enough. But we all know the true outcome will Gundy looking for a new job as most universities are run by liberal loons.

I am probably going to be blasted for saying this,but why couldn't the school sue these players for not living up to a contract {scholarship} by not playing. While I am sure a liberal judge would rule in favor of the student it at least would maybe send a message of enough is enough. Could it be because the players are under 21 when they sign up?

It is my opinion he should have the freedom to wear any shirt that does not portray something obscene or vulgar - from a decency perspective because he is in the public eye at such times. Beyond that, if he wanted any common logo or style shirt on, that's his choice, and everyone else can LEAVE if they don't like it. Example: I wouldn't care if he chose a CNN shirt, either. I don't care for CNN, but so what? It's just a shirt with an ink pattern on it.
