Crazy isn’t it.
What’s happening ladies and gents is that the chickens are coming home to roost.
For decades, have sent our kids off to college, and placed them in the hands of liberal whacko professors, and now, behold, here are the fruits of their education.

When I went to UT in the early 1990s there was a strong on campus movement to change the fight song and remove some statues. At that time, a compromise was reached and a few statues were removed, but the song remained. Some of the statues had very tall shrubs planted all around them. The compromise appeased most, but not everyone was satisfied.

Just change the name to I've been working on the railroad....The band plays it..all settled. according to a Dallas Morning News article today, the railroad song also has a racist origin, so i doubt it would settle anything with the players. DMN Article

Just put different words to "Boomer Sooner" and send the royalties to Norman. Everyone (at least us old Okies) knows OU owns UT anyway!

I don't know about there not being slavery now. I think there are many more "Slaves" in America today then there ever was,too many people are enslaved to the Government teat. For the biggest problem facing people today is the lack of desire to earn their own way in this world today. As for the school song we all know the liberals at UT do not have the guts to take a good old TEXAS stand against this stupid demand! Yep the teat should be cut off. Here is who should get help physically and mentally handicapped people. That's it. Ifbyou are of working age under 68 in my humble opinion you should go to work, I'm fine with unemployment payments for 90 days as that's a insurance type deal employers pay into. Beyond that the freeloading needs to stop. Section 8, food stamps, obama phones, all of it needs to stop. They dont like how things are well let's see how they will like that. Looters should be shot dead and left in the streets for a day or 2 for people to look at while we are on that subject.

Well I guess they could cancel the athletic program, if it didn't bring in 229 million a year.
