Having a difficult time finding good crappie on Joe Pool. In search of a good guide. Y'all have any suggestions?
Thanks.

I don’t know of any crappie guides on JP right now. Lilly pad guide service used to run trips out there but he is at tawakoni now.

Give Joe Pool Marina a call they may know of some one. I used to work there and knew the guides but that has been some 15 years ago but I would think that would be a good start to locating a guide.

Haven't been on the lake in 10's of years but here's what I know from way back when. Submerged timber in the mouths of coves. Use your electronics to find the timber. Tons of it below the water line. If you're putting in at the marina, hang a right under the bridge and find the 'boat lane' that cuts through the timber. Start on the outside edge, both corners, and work down that lane. Way back when, there used to be some condos and such on some humps.

That is the old webb -Brittan road bed. where it crosses the creek is a good spot.
I would agree with you , but then we would both be WRONG !!!!!
