We need everyone to go back to work! This will help but everyone blames the internet for the drop in fish being caught on every lake. You can't post a fishing report without someone getting upset that you are ruining their honey hole.

TPWD site doesn’t show any stockings for Choke. Where did you find the info?

They also said they dumped some into Mathis/Lake Corpus Christi.
I’d imagine the the white bass have already made the Choke stocking cut in half.

No issue on a hijack. They sure didn’t advertise these stockings to us fisherman very well. I’m glad when they let us know that our tax dollars are being put back into the lakes/parks.

Looking for an advantage.
I'm fishing a tournament on Choke this weekend, I'm a fairly new member in a club in Bryan. Most of the guys are long time members that know where to fish on all the area lakes. It has been tough for me to break into the top three of any of our tournaments. I am looking for an advantage to beat these guys for once.
So, without giving away any private hot spots, do y'all have any suggestions as far as area of lake, deep or shallow, best colors, grass or stumps, or whatever? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks Lol, 99% of your club will be fishing the Huisache area, just follow them there and act like you knew where you were going. Good luck not hitting a tree if you start running the lake, it’s starting to get to the dangerous level. Topwaters early and bring a flipping rod (or 3).

There is a section of the lake that looks wide open, guys run through it at WOT, never realizing that there’s trees like this just below the surface at the current lake levels. The tree above can’t be seen when there is any waves on the water, drive smart and look where you are going and not at your graph. This is the same tree from a distance, you can’t see it when the waves are moving. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/06/full-35324-55883-a164c845_f393_4b89_a3a2_ca9a29b79e2f.jpeg)
