I was fishing off the bank last night, I saw a guy catch a nice crappie just as the front blew in. Good Luck!

Went out and we found plenty of fish off the east point of Murrell. 3/4oz or 1 oz slabs chrome or chartreuse worked. 25' depth seemed to be where we found them. we only moved 100 yds all evening. Went to the island and marked fish but no takers. We had 4 fishing and multiple times we had 3 fish on at a time. We kept less than 2 limits.
Wake Boats beat us up, but we pressed on through the beatings.
Will be back out tonight with 2 grandkids to see if I can keep them entertained.

Thanks for the report JWC. You helped us out a couple of weeks ago and that east point is also where we found them. Unfortunately most of them were suspended in 25' so they were harder to catch. We would catch them reeling up through the school. Chartreuse Little George was top producer over slabs for us. And it never ceases to amaze me how the dumb wake boats will literally drive between the shoreline and your boat. No clue whatsoever. We were in a pontoon so the waves would push us off the fish every time.

Yes, Next time just throw a rope to me. Ulterra will hold both of us in place.

I'll have to try again, was out a couple weeks ago and only managed a couple of dinks. Looked like tons of little ones and shad on the graph...

We had good sized ones 10 1/2 to 13 1/2 average. We may have only had 10 unders. Yes 2 weeks ago half we caught were unders.

LBK,
I don't know about the mornings but I will be out Saturday morning with 3 more kids again to see if I can find them.

Took a couple of the grandkids out last evening. We didn't get on our spot till almost 6 pm, but they had a blast for about an hour. They got about 30 sandies and one 4 lb cat. Still off Murrell on silver metal flake slabs in 25'. Size were still good only a couple unders but all went back into the lake last night.

Lots of boats fishing last night and not many wake boats so it was nice.

Good deal. I took the day off and took the kayak to Lavon and found some sandies. We were catching them every other cast for a couple hours and then they turned off. I need to get out to GV since it’s down the street. Hopefully next weekend.

Sounds like the yachts on Texoma. A buddy was trollkng striper alley and one got too close. He threw a full Coors Light at it and bounced it off his hull.

Saturday morning report was tough till the wind started to blow about 9 am. We managed quite a few fish by 11 am. They are still showing up at Murrell east. We tried to get off the lake before the crazys showed, but that was too late. Some lady, out of control, ran into a bass boat at the ramp and busted his high end MinnKota.
