Has anyone fished the new crappie house yet at West Bay? Went by there and checked it out, looks like they did a great job, but didn't see anyone fishing. They put in a self pay minnow station with bags and even have a fish cleaning station. Never seen one like it.

Might actually be able to catch a darned crappie on that lake now. I have the worst luck on EM but will certainly try this especially in the winter

That's amazing!!!! I've never seen anything like this before. I may need to visit it just to keep it floating and in amazing shape for future anglers.

Innovative , managed correctly this may even work. The first thing I notice when I've fished 'barges' is how clean are they kept? Most I've seen are trashy, and dirty, This one looks really nice.

I fish there all the time, water is 20ft deep in the house. They sell minnows in the house. A good thing is you can fish all the slips leading to the house. And along the seawall. I've caught largemouth to 7lbs in the slips along with channel cats and sand bass. The fish bite at very specific times for about 2hrs a feeding twice a day. Comes in handy when there's no time for the boat.
I would rather die finding out there was no God than die finding out there is.

Did they sink brush or make some kind of underwater structures?

Did they sink brush or make some kind of underwater structures? They sank brush, and a lot of it. I think some was washed out, but there's still some tied to the sides.

I fish at night but it's really slow until just before daylight.
