Never been wade fishing inshore. I'm going to the coast the week of June 22 - 26 for a few days. Need some idea's on where to get started. Anywhere between Corpus and Seadrift. I'm looking to catch trout and reds. Thanks for any places to get started.

If the surf calms enough you can catch some nice fish in the surf. I've always caught bigger trout in the surf than in shore in the summer months.

You'll need wade fishing gear -- boots and shin guards to avoid sting rays, also wade fishing belt and stringer. Try Airport Flats near Rockport or even Little Bay in Rockport
