Optics may be bad but old guy was totally in the wrong and was barely pushed. He fell and busted his head bc he was old and tripped after small shove and 2 officers doing their jobs will pay the price due to current climate and politics. If I was a cop right now I wouldn’t have just resigned from riot control after that I would have flat out quit. They do a thankless job and never know when a moving violation could cost them their lives yet deal with this protesting and rioting and 100’s of thousands of people and something like this happens. Just bad luck for cops here and they will pay for it dearly.

Use the slider to go frame by frame. He is holding something in his right hand, maybe a cell phone. He’s not going for the officers rifle bc the officer isn’t holding one. He strikes the officer on the right forearm with whatever he’s holding. That’s what the officers responded to.

Pretty sure it was a phone as well. He should not have approached the riot officers and should have left when told to do so. If he had done these things, there would have been no conflict. Pretty simple
