Prayers up man. I can't imagine the stress and anxiety of not being able to hold your new boy.
Good looking boy though!

Family is everything! Life is precious. We don’t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

The medicine they introduced to his lungs the other day (surfactant) worked short term but the effects wore off after a little bit. He’s still doing really good other needing help with oxygen though so we’re thankful for that. Doctors are still hopeful that a little more time is all he needs so we’re letting him rest and letting his body and God do the rest. Just being patient!! We’re heading home now to get back to our 3 year old so we’ll be making some visits until we bust Baker outta here!
Thanks again to everybody for the prayers!!! This group has been a great support system

Thanks again to everybody for the prayers!!! This group has been a great support system Bissett, continued prayers sent! That PM I sent was because everything your baby is going through my Grand did too! He had all the same symptoms, same tests and same medication and it also was short term in helping, then his skin got a light blueish tint. Once they brought in a specialist and diagnosed he had TGA they rushed him to Houston and took care of the problem. My Niece is a Neonatal NPR in Ft/Wth and she is the one that suggested the Dr.s at Brian/CS bring in a specialist to check for TGA on John. The advances the medical field have made is amazing. Here is a pre-op, post-op and John at 1 year last month with no complications now. The reason I'm showing them to you is to let you know, that I know it's a difficult time for you and the Mrs. but we have great medical personnel in the U. S. and we have a glorious God and to keep faith. Your baby is in good hands! I will keep praying for all!
