 Where to launch at Tawakoni?

Thought I was headed to Tawakoni this afternoon, called state park and they said I needed to call three days in advance to make a reservation just to use the boat ramp. What the heck? Called two other places and they said they locked their gates at 5. So where can I launch at Tawakoni? Somewhere I do not have to worry about the truck being broken into while on the water. Help? Thanks.
