The Texas Ranger statue at Dallas Love Field is now being removed because it’s racist they say.... What’s racist about the statue? It’s been there forever

There is racism involved in decisions like this, just not on the side some people think.

At the bottom is a link to a longer article that included lynching history in Texas. It includes a wild story about Frank Hamer (Bonny and Clide fame) and a mob killing in Sherman. A blemish on Texas but it was another time.
