My wife hates it when we have to navigate those wakes. There is no real "good" way to do it, you just take the beating. She gets mad at me sometimes and blames me for intentionally driving the boat like it's a jet ski. The worst part for me is the distance those things will travel from their boat. I will inadvertently run up on some huge wake I didnt see coming because I wasnt really looking for it as there was no boat around. Then I see it clear across the dang lake.....

All true. I've been finding a few kayaks in between a few of the roller sets, that's always exciting too. The occasional Cruise Ship rollers will get ya some big air! Be safe!!

I passed one a couple weeks ago on the way to weigh in at a evening tourney. I was doing 60 when I realized it was a wake boat. HOLY JEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZUUUUUUUUUSSSSSS!!!

Cedar Creek this last weekend was by far the worst I have ever seen or been in, this comes from fishing Texoma and Tawakoni A LOT! Sea walls and senseless boat drivers galore made for a long and sore boat ride anytime we moved around. Also had at least 5 pontoons and/or wake boats pass within 30yards of us while fishing off shore. Tarrant County has to do something about it or someone is going to get injured or killed one day. Saw that same red Kayak under the 198 bridge and really felt bad for him.

On memorial day weekend I had someone wake boarding near me at 6:30am... Thankfully the CA Delta is big enough I can usually go fish places they don't drive through.

I hate those boats. I think its irresponsible and dangerous to throw the biggest qake possible. Its why i dont run half speed. Im either idling or on plane.

I have taken waves over the bow of my 22'center console on a few different occaissions from these boats on Alan Henry. Hate to see how some of the smaller boats would have fared.

What irritates me the most is as others mentioned they will pass nearly withing casting distance of someone fishing even when there is tons of open water for them tomlm pass.

I took my daughter tubing yesterday, but even then did my best to avoid areas people were fishinf and cerrainly.didnt do any donuts near.fishermen.

Im not a proponent.of.govt.overreach and more laws, but i wish they would disappear from the lake.

When fishing I don’t like them. When I get invited into a friend’s surf boat I love them. It’s a lot of fun to surf.

I can't describe how much I hate them. When I win the Powerball I am going to buy a retired PT boat, drive it alongside wakeboard boats, and let my wake swamp them. I'm sure they won't mind since I will just be enjoying the lake my own way, like they are doing now.

As long as they give me my room to fish I don't care. They're just as entitled to use the lake as we are.

Ban those boats, then speed limits, then no tournaments etc. Screw that.

McQueeney was the worst. a narrow sea walled river and also the ski boat capitol of Texas. huge bass though.

I heard that about 50' of 3 strand 1/2" will shut down a wake boat in a hurry when it gets in the prop.

makes it hard to anchor later tho.
