my 2wd 2002 tacoma pre runner hasn't failed me, and have been in some pretty steep pot holed boat ramps towing a 18ft ranger!!!!!

Looks like he was in toooo deep to begin with. He couldn't back the trailer correctly, so he probably couldn't figure out the 4wd either.
