I don't like posting links so y'all can Google it from whichever news organization floats your boat.

But it seems as though "protesters" have done some damage to the building.

Police, "protesters" and armed men who are identifying themselves as "Protectors of the Alamo"...

Well they are all in a good old-fashioned Mexican stand off.

I found no articles saying the Alamo was damaged or that protestors were on the grounds. 2 days ago a "righteous protestor" did graffiti the Alamo Cenotaph.

CNN headline: Protestor exhibits his 1st Amendment right:

More CNN reporting: Citizens protesting!

San Antonio got a lot of damage done in the down town area. Mainly broken windows. I also saw a police vehicle with it's windows broken out! There were also plenty of arrest. It could have been a whole lot worst. eeks

Last night This Is Texas Freedom Force surrounded the Alamo armed and ready. The police established a secondary perimeter between the rioters and TITFF. Earlier today police said they could handle it, and told TITFF they could leave. Police started to get overwhelmed tonight and the TITFF were called to arms again in case they're needed. Both the police and TITFF are authorized to use deadly force if necessary. This was a few hours ago. Just checked and TITFF is still staged, and the police have said they have 100 patrol cars surrounding the Alamo with approximately 200 officers now on scene and in control, TITFF will remain staged for a while.

Update: protesters have been removed. 100 cops to remain on scene throughout the night.
