Heading to Port A tonight and will also be there next weekend. I plan to be there, in a slip, the next 4 days, right off the ferry at the harbor slips

Will be back at work Wed and Thur but plan to be back down late Thursday and there till late the following Sunday.

If anyone is headed out, will keep a radio tuned to channel 68 and one to the distress channel.

Ask for Cow Bell.

Good luck! Holler if you need anything. We will not be out during dark, so swing by and tell us all the fish stories ya like on the boat!

Russ

Well, made it here. I need a Yamaha mechanic though. Replaced the water pumps but I think we did not get one shaft correct. May as well have them replace both again right, just in case. Need to see if I can find one able to do it tomorrow and not kill me on the price.

Good luck finding someone to put an impeller in.
It's not that hard on a yamaha, two tricks, be sure and put a little grease on the water tube and drive shaft so they slide in easier and a mate to wiggle the flywheel to stab the shaft home.

And don't forget to use anti seize on everything.

I paid about 800 and had both impellers reinstalled and water pumps and lower ends serviced plus they replaced the broken trim switch on one engine. Got back on the water about 3 but at the slip.

Well, did not get to fish. Spent all the time working on the boat. Brought it home and will work on it later. Looking at whether to head to Packery or somewhere late Thursday or early Friday so my son can do some fishing.

Gotta see what the fishing will be like this coming weekend first.
