I don't know if this will make you feel better but a friend of I went to Highschool with got it along with her 15yr old daughter. She said that outside of being tired and scratchy throat she felt fine. Said if it weren't for the test she would have sworn it was allergies. She was 100% in less than a week. Prayers to your sister.

I posted this yesterday but will do so again. Saw my doctor yesterday for a routine exam. and I asked him about the virus, etc. He and his partner have treated 80 patients with hydroxychlorophin and the antibiotic combo with no hospitalizations. He does have numerous older patients as well.

Your doctor should conduct a double blind study and submit it for peer review. That would be very useful to counteract the massive pile of data emerging from just such studies all over the globe... which show hydroxychloroquine simply doesn't work and may be harmful in some patients. Otherwise what's he operating on is a hunch.

Take for instance this study that looked at over 100,000 patients from 671 hospitals across 6 continents.

I know a couple people that have come down with it. One has fully recovered and the others are still dealing with it.

Full disclosure on that link I listed above, that only looked at patients once hospitalized. I have not seen a study that shows whether hydroxychloroquine taken as a preventative drug is helpful.

Wish her a fast and healthy recovery. One of my best friends is in his early 60s with some risk factors and he was the 4th confirmed case in Wood County. He made it through it just fine. Had a headache a day or so and a fever for a few days but seems to have recovered just fine. He was able to fish 10-12hrs a day last week in a boat this past week for 2 days. He went on his own a couple of days as well.

Yeah, it's real.

I'll go for my I'll go for my 7th swab tomorrow (weekly). I became symptomatic 04/08. Risk factors : Age - 66, hypertension. That's it. Heavy exposure but with full PPE including N95 and surgical mask over the N95.

Not mild symptoms either. My wife said she thought I could die here @ home ... she's a 26 year RN with 12 years critical care experience.

It's very real ... I won't be able to go back to work ever most likely. I can't walk down the road 200 yards without getting winded. Real.


Yet, I realize succinctly that it affects people very differently.
