 Problem with Lowrance LCX-15MT fish finder

I have a Lowrance LCX-15MT which I bought new many years ago and was working with no problems until now. When you now turn it on, a screen will come up and say Loading in the lower left corner but never loads. Lowrance will not service it due to its age. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix the problem. Thank you.

Hopefully you still have your owners manual. Check for a "reset" procedure and try that.

If your head unit has quit and you want another just like it, I have one I was getting to put on the forum.
