Do not fish this weekend. That is all.

But if you survive the concentration of wakeboats and jet skis coming to look at you, the fish were hot yesterday. One wake boat came by about 40 ft from us and one guy said hey! Look! That guys fishing! noidea I just said, yep! We’re trying to! No clue.

Any brush pile we found in 18-20 ft had fish on them 12-15 ft down. They hit stump bugs best, but hit bigger baits also. The bite was super, super light, would just feel pressure on the line when they took it in, no thump. Caught enough for dinner in about 30 minutes on 2 piles and then drove around for awhile scanning, the lake traffic just got to be too much. Be safe out there!

Good report thumbI was out there on Friday. Launched at Little Ridge and fished mid-lake. Found good fish on standing timber in 10-12ftw, anything deeper than that yielded lots of under fish. Sure are liking monkey milk right now.

We didn’t get there until 10:30, and we beat the rush by a hair. By noon it was nuts. The forecast today should make it easier if you’re able to go!

The Crappie are also still up shallow. We saw 2 guys yanking them in left and right on Saturday in less than 3ft of water.
