Seems like Meat selection is getting worse and prices are going up with the packers processing less Beef & Pork at the big name stores I usually go to.

Stopped at Aldi as a last result, hadn't been to one in years. They had hamburger and pork Chops at really cheap prices. Not a big selection on cuts of meat but prices were good.

I could tell a lot of people go there just to buy their fresh vegetables. Saw one guy with a bag with at least 40 tomatoes in it.....lol. But the Produce seaction was the busiest part of the store.

They did have some "Fritos" there made in the U.S. by a company called Clancy. They were as good as the brand name and 79 cents for a big bag, so that was a success.

No. No. No.

I went there one time and never went back.

I didn't have any quarters so I had difficulty getting a shopping basket I didn't know I had to bring pocket change to go to the grocery store. I wanted to buy one onion but the only option was to buy like 5 lb of onions. The selection on almost everything was very limited. The way the store is laid out it was impossible almost to go back if you had forgotten something or passed it

Totally not fun.

I was a loyal Kroger guy for many years, but now I find myself mostly going to WinCo.

WinCo rocks.

I do not support any grocery store based in Germany

Bottom line, never been in one and never plan on walking in one

Most of them are in ghetto part of town which I have seen

Only store I know of within 700 miles where I can indulge in the greatness of Turano's Italian bread.

Very rarely. There's a nice one in Burleson, but I usually only go if they have their avocados on sale.

Aldi and Trader Joe's have some common ownership. Aldi Sud runs the Aldi stores in the US. Aldi Nord runs them in Europe and also own Trader Joe's.

They didn't charge me a quarter for the shopping cart, but paper bags were 10 cents a piece.

World War 2 was 75 years ago, so I've kinda let that go, and besides I bought a Tundra, so yeah Japan.

I think the next real war will be with China, I'm surprised Trump hasn't thought of it yet. Don't think they even have Presidential Elections during a World War?

So he could be President/Czar for a looooong time.

I see quite a few people there obviously feeding families - children, etc. Their prices are very good for staple items especially. Selection is limited in some ways but adequate. They have hams on sale at times, and they are excellent. Milk, cheese, eggs, fresh spinach, fresh mushrooms, salad dressings (esp. blue cheese), bread are items I find good and substantially less than others. Not worth a long drive, however.
