spirit is comparable to sitting in a hot porta potty in 100 degree heat compared to a buccees bathroom poo stop. we flew them once to mexico. 2 hours of misery, sitting straight up in a hard plastic chair, praying to god the wings did not fall off.

I will straight up kill myself before I ever spend a cent on that trash airline. Absolute nightmare to board. Oh and any bag is $60, any bag.
You have to get your boarding pass 45 min before takeoff or forget about getting on the flight.

DONT DO IT

My son flew on Spirit once and only once going to baseball tourney in FLA. Proved to me they were the sorriest airline by far in the industry. I wouldn’t fly with them if they gave me the plane afterward.

Go ahead and go. Somethings have to be experienced in person.

I've flown on them several times for weekend trips to see a buddy in Minnesota. I can fit everything in a backpack so no bag fees. So if I can save $150+ to fly them and it just me for a short trip it doesn't bother me. I wouldn't fly them for a long trip or with the family, cause then the fees add up.

Then you’d really enjoy a Greyhound bus ride
