V-Dub pulled off the rectangular tailpipe look quite nicely. If only they still made those incredibly fuel efficient diesels! I didn't know that existed.

Kind of partial to this one... That's what I'm talking about! That's a pretty truck!

The high country version looks a little bit better on the 2500's. The half tons are starting to warm up on me. Thinking about getting a Trail Boss with a 6.2 V8 so Bob will only get to look at my tailgate.

I like the new Chevy trucks. Only if they were as reliable as the "First on Race Day" ones.

I got a friend who loves Chevy's so much he has two.
Seems like every week he is posting about one costing him $$$ on repairs or a photo of one on a tow truck.
He babies them and takes a picture of whichever one he is driving in front of pretty much every place he goes. But one of them is always broke down it seems. Now I know why he has two. I can't help but wonder where is faith in them came from and why he can't see the irony of his situation.

I am on my 5th GM full-size sport utility since 1997 with ~400k miles driven. (These have the same drivetrain as the pickup models.) Not once has one ever been towed or side-lined out on the road; I've hit 100k miles on two of them with no failure at all, and 80k miles on one with only a satellite antenna failure. One is 13 years old and has reached a point where the differential needed some service due to mileage wear. (It was getting a bit noisy.) Yeah, it's really tough putting up with owning these....
