I went to Lake Fork last week to have Slade Daughtry get my graphs dialed in and get the latest updates. He also calibrated my Ultrex which I thought I had done correctly. The next day my nephew called me and said that he had lost a G. Loomis rod and Curado reel over the side of the boat in the middle of the lake. All he knew was that he was between two trees about 75 yards apart when it fell in the water. So we we took out my boat to go fishing for crappie and a $600 rod and reel combo. He casted a weighted treble hook several times in the area he thought he had lost it. No luck though. So we decided to switch my finely tuned Solix to side imaging and noticed a white line on the screen about 3/8 in. long. We put the cursor on the line and hit the waypoint button. We then positioned the waypoint on the starboard side of the boat , hit spotlock and two casts later my nephew reeled in his combo. Then we caught some crappie. What a day ! If this sounds like a plug for Slade Daughtry. It is! That guy is wizard with electronics. He showed me examples of different fish on SI , DI, and 2D. He also showed me some tricks with the Ultrex. The remote control won't be sitting in my glove box anymore. I figured as much money as I have spent on electronics why not spend a little more to get the most out of them.

Yeah I forgot to save the screen shot. We were so busy high 5ing I just forgot. However, if you feel the thread is worthless then just disregard it.

Yeah the screen shot would have been nice to have. That Graphite lit up white hot when the sonar hit it

Another great thing about using Slade is once a customer, always a customer. I've called him a couple times while on the water and having problems with one of my units. He walks you through it and so far has always found the problem. If I had one fault with him it's that he sets up your unit so fast it's hard to keep up with what he's doing (at least for me it is). Money well spent!
To whom much is given, much is required.

Money well spent! You hit the nail right square on the head bush hog! He is darn fast! Which is why I took a little Composition book with me to capture as much information as I could from our trip.I had no idea how one screen palate would make images POP more than another or when 3D sonar was better to use. So glad I took the advise of a fellow TFFer,I believe his name was Watson( SHOUT OUT) when I did & BOOKED an appointment with him a while back! He, Slade Daughtery aka Forkfish, is on TOP of his game and well worth a visit.IMHO

I've been needing to have him tune my graphs for awhile and just never pulled the trigger. How much does he charge?
