I was looking at some Inviz-x line and some treble hooks on eBay. I know from the reviews on Amazon that a lot of folks have been displeased with the inviz-x they’ve gotten, which also worries me about getting it on eBay?
Any of you have eBay vendors you trust for line, hooks, etc.?

I haven't tried the inviz-x yet but like the red label pretty good.
As for treble hooks look up "spinningchicken" on here. Sells mustad and gamakatsu hooks for really cheap and supports charity!! Have ordered from him lots of times. Great guy.

I would personally stay awake from Amazon and eBay for line, hooks, and cologne. I’ve been scammed a bunch of times buying spools of line that were 300 yards to not even fill up a reel that holds 100 yards. Same with the hooks you buy trokar they send cheap china hooks that will bend out with your hands lol

I'll buy split rings, pegs, swivels, etc on Ebay/amazon because you can get bulk and its very very cheap but I wouldn't buy my fishing line there.

I've bought a lot of items thru Tackle Supply Depot on eBay. They have a large selection of tackle, good prices, fast shipping, have a lot of new to the market stuff, etc. You can ask questions via email if you need info on an item. They also send you a discount coupon towards future purchases. I also like AmericanLegacyFishing (this is how there store is named for searching). They have great prices, closeouts, even used rods and reels. I have bought quite a few rods and reels from them. Both of these stores carefully pack all items for shipping. Hope this helps some.

I bought some bulk packs of Gamagutsu hooks from an eBay vendor once and knew they were not gamas the second I looked at them. They were in the correct package but the bend was wrong and the color was wrong. Never again will I buy something that can be repackaged like line or hooks. I do buy some older hard to find baits on there but they really can’t be faked.
Retirement best job ever.

Thanks, this is helpful.
If it's too good to be true (prices on hooks, line, etc.), it most likely is!

Check out the Ebay sellers feedback, if they have sold over 500 things and have a 98% to 100% feedback, they are probaly a good one. I buy & sell plenty on Ebay & rarely have a problem.

Sportsman's Outfitters has been good to deal with. I've gotten Lews reels for dirt cheap. They're on the up and up
