I called Matt several years ago and he was all booked up. I asked him if he could recommend someone and he gave me 3 names. Asked him which one he would go with if he had a choice, he said the first name he gave me. That was Joe Read. Two of us went with him and after catching our limit we released 98 hybrids according to his clicker and 10 stripers. Used artificial jig heads with either chartreuse/white or all pearl color 4†swimbaits that day. Got into stripers schooling on top. Man I slept like a log that night with a big smile on my face. It was an amazing trip, better than I ever dreamed it would be. A lot of great guides on Twok, that is just my story.

Matt Cartwright +3 in. He asked us what we wanted to catch. We said a little of everything. In one morning we double limited hybrids, double limited white bass. Double limited catfish, and then released everything else. Then he filleted all those fish for us. Amazing.
