Hey,
The 2020 Texas Police Athletic Federation Team Bass tournament will be held at Lake Palestine September 9th and 10th of this year (moved from June). The format for this event has been changed to a
Team Format to align with the industry standard and is open to First Responders and immediate family of that First Responder if they fish as a team. The only exception to that rule is if you as a First Responder choose to fish with a child of a fallen officer through 10-7 outdoors. In the event that you would like to fish with a Fallen Officers child (17 years old or older) you will be teamed up and fish as a team. You can check out 10-7 Outdoors for details on their charity. The Web site below has a list of what is considered a First Responder as well as what Military occupations are eligible to fish. In the past I haven't seen any active duty Military turned away so if you are active Military please look into it or contact me. This is not a money event, with the exception of a side pot and door prizes. We compete for (Gold,Silver,Bronze) medals and bragging rights from year to year. This is a great way for First Responders to meet up and compete outside of our normal jobs. I am always available to talk about the Games, so if you have questions you can PM me or pm me your number and I will call you.
