WOW... not even close. Invizx is WAY more supple and smooth than red label. It's amazing. I had forgotten how much better it is.

I've been experimenting with Invisx vs Red label. I use primarily Red label due to the price but I always liked Invisx. I purchased a spool of 17 lb Invisx. Red label doesn't come in 17 lb. So not sure I like the Invisx 17 lb better than the 15 lb Red label.

So for me the jury is still out on whether or not the Invisx is worth the extra cost.

They have different characteristics. Red label has higher knot strength and less stretch than invisx. Invisx has better handling qualities. I use invisx for crankbaits and spinnerbaits. I use red label for most soft plastic applications.

about to find out, I am going 100% Invizx and going to see what happens. May get some 17 lb. too

Invizx hands down.

Although I use mostly Berkley fluoro now, I've still got some spools of red label. Its good for using on reels that I change the line often on, like DD22's or squarebills. Moving baits that don't mind stretchy line.

FTT try some Yamamoto Sugoi grey casting. Seaguar and Yamamoto same mnf. since the beginning of Fluorocarbon. Sugoi grey casting is better than both Invizx and Red Label in 14lb and up, IMHO it's very close to Tahtsu for the same $ as Invizx. The clear is better for spinning real setups and doesn't seem to be as strong and abrasion resistance.

I have fished both, I do a lot of deep cranking and have come to prefer Red Label. The reason is that Invizx breaks easier and develops memory quicker. I have caught as many as 40 bass or more up to 7-8 lbs. and not even retie while throwing Red Label. Yeah I will check it for rough spot or nicks between fish by sliding it between my fingers too. I'm not saying Red Label is indestructible as I do find nicks and frays at times, even occasionally I get broken off. Maybe it's the fact that Invizx is softer that makes it weaker and more prone to break. I don't think I gain any distance by throwing softer line but I do when I drop in size. If I'm throwing a heavy jig it's going to be 20 - 25 lb. Red Label and it will definitely develop a lot of memory making it unfit for lighter jigs or finesse rigs. For cranking I use 15 lb. Red Label or maybe 12 lb. depending on the time of year and the cover. For my lighter finesse rigs I'll be using 12 -15 lb. Red Label also. For a Carolina rig I will use 20 lb. Red Label or braid with a 20 lb. Fluorocarbon leader. Red Label left on the spool long term will in fact develop more memory than Invizx but that's when it's time to respool anyway for me. The memory that Invizx gets is more of a small wavy effect than normal spool coil loops laying across the water on a slack line. This is based on my personal experience and only my opinion. Tight lines!

I'm going to order a spool of that too just to give it a shot.
