Right out in front of the old closed down power plant. Lots of the plant has been dismantled but the lines are still there. Man, I miss fishing the hot water discharge in the winter. Granbury, Gibbons Creek, Fairfield, Monticello....Fishing hot water discharges in the winter are quickly becoming “urban lore”! [Linked Image]

Thats the area known in Striper Alley. From Sandy Point past the powerlines to the lefy hand turn headed towards the damn. Juzt under the Pwlines on south bank there are couple of creek channels that hold fish. Good spot to troll and to slab. Got my biggest 10.5 there when I lived on Granbury. Gotta watch for Lake Lice..wakeboarders and jet fleas! Remember THEY Think they own the Lake! Dont miss them.!!
