gave up on them when they raised the cost of prime and bezos made some stupid statements that completely shut me down on using amazon.
now with the cheeneese wuhan flue I refuse to even open amazon other than to price compare, most of their stuff is higher than wal mart and other retailers (that shipping is not free just because you have prime).
don't use them, won't use them. I made that comparison with Walmart on here a year ago and everybody got hostile.

The "new" delivery drivers for Amazon are horrible. They will leave the package anywhere they want. I hear ya Bass, I live in a mobile home park (lot's of foot traffic) I went to the trouble of securing a wood strong box to the front porch With a sign on it indicating to put the package in the box and lock with the provided padlock. Additionally I have standing instructions with Amazon about using the strong box So there never should be a question where my packages go. Today's delivery was left on the side porch This after making them give me a credit over the last delivery and getting their promise they would make sure future delivery's were done as per instructions. This now makes 4 out of 7 in the last few months, I will make 1 other major purchase when the item comes back into stock, just so I can save on the freight for a lg, heavy item And then I am cancelling Prime

I tried Prime a couple years back. Didn't notice any difference in shipping/delivery and didn't use any of the side deals (TV/Music) so cancelled before I got charged for it. I get free shipping on everything I order from them anyway. Just have to order $25 worth of stuff. Ordered some cheap DVDs yesterday and one has already shipped.
What I have noticed that is bad, over 50% of my wish list has been saying "We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." and most prices have gone up.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

I ordered 5 things from Walmart recently order was about $40.00. All items were shipped for free, came from 3 different locations, so 3 packages. Had everything in 3 days, shipped to my home with FedEx.
Walmart is doing anything they have to, to beat Amazon.

I too have noticed price increases on everything on Amazon recently. We buy coffee and a few other items from Walmart and it is delivered fast. Walmart and Amazon better wise up if they want to increase product sales right now. Made in the USA goes a long way for me and many that I know of. Sure it was fun to buy cheap china stuff before they destroyed our economy and investments with their flu. But now, no sir, not for me and mine anyway. I saw where Face Masks made in China were going for $.79 for boxes of 100. That shows how low their prices have gone since the demand for their products dropped.

It's the Prime Video that has sucked. Nothing but B or direct to video movies.

Amazon should be refunding a Prime customers a portion of their annual fee since they are not living up to their agreement. One day and Saturday deliveries in rural areas is non existent. Our regular delivery man was great! He always delivered packages to our door. The new guys don’t come onto our property, they just drop packages over the fence in the grass or leave them at the entrance to our driveway. If you try to call their customer service # you almost always get a person with a heavy foreign accent.

I've had no problems with Prime deliveries. A few came outside the two day window but the disclaimer on the website said that might happen, but it was still in a 3-4 day range. Most of the items I buy on a regular basis are still the same price they were a year ago.
As for the deliveries, they are no worse than FedEx or UPS. If they get ON the porch then that's about normal and none of them even ring the bell. They just drop the box and leave.
We tried Walmart a few years ago but they were no better than Amazon and never got an order with multiple items that something wasn't left out.
My guess is than none of the options are perfect and never will be.

But, They did send out a change of the terms right as lock downs were happening stating they were no longer able to commit to delivery times any more.

Agree, they should drop the charges for Amazon Prime membership fees. It’s a rip-off now. I can’t remember when I got a package when promised. NOT happy!
