I have blanked 4 trips in a row prior to this. I have even prebaited a spot 3 days in a row and went back to fish it and the fish didn’t bite at all. Bad luck I guess. To say a good day was well deserved would be an understatement. 4/30/20 we really dialed it in and got lucky. 11 fish today. 2 big buffs (35#, and 27#), 2 ghosties, 7 commons. Lots of jumping fish this morning when we arrived. We spombed the area and it seemed to draw the jumping fish in closer, and closer.
All the spombing payed off as it really turned the bite on.
Oats and fruity pebble pack bait for the win! 😎
Biggest fish of the day was this massive buff that swam in with a school of other big buffs.
New PB @ 35 lb buff at a new spot. Couldn't be more thrilled.
Another decent hard fighting buff that weighed in at 27 pounds.
Started this morning with a triple run and capture. One of them was a decent ghost carp.
Small baby ghost carp.
Twice in the day they were directly on top of the swim in front of us. Fun day. Beautiful weather. Tried some new bait combinations. Fruity pebbles works really well with corn, oats, cherry jello.
Give a man a fish he can eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and you can get rid of him for the entire weekend!
wow awesome fishing congratulations what a great session
