What's the story that Benbrook ramps are closed except for the marina? I thought the governor let all the state park ramps open. I know it's a COE lake, and they aren't under state rules. Oh, the level is barely above pool, so high water isn't much excuse. Jus askin'.

As you said, COE Lake. They will take their time, last I heard they were having a hard time finding a "gate keeper" at Mustang.

That I understand, but Longhorn doesn't need a gatekeeper, it is a free ramp.

The list of COE excuses to close and keep ramps closed is comical. I think there are some ramps still closed on Lavon because they don’t like the way the wind is blowing.

So, Benbrook is closed still? or are you able to put in at the marina? I was thinking about heading out that way this weekend.

The marina is open, but it is a zoo. I waited in line behind 7 boats last time I was there. People were loading there stuff on the ramp, blocking boats from pulling out, and driving in the wrong direction. Still better than not getting on the water.

Thanks for the replys. I fished Marine Creek today, what a zoo! I was trying to put some crappie in the freezer. Bad day of fishing. Wished I could have fished Benbrook. What does the marina charge to launch? 10 bucks??? 20 bucks??? Lo!

Inflation I guess. But, why not just make it $10 and offer a year pass for like $40-50?

Been really busy on the weekends. This Sunday Tarrant Bass Club is suppose to be there, 19-20 boats. 7 dollar ramp fee.
