I don't have any strong opionions of Bill Gates. You seem to be the only one. I didn’t know until fairly recently that he was so controversial. I guess it’s that whole lizard man thing. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me.

Don't be stupid. I am against political corruption. I am against a triangle where everyone is paying somebody else with tax dollars when there is either none or questionable deliverables. This how the AOC's go from broke to millionaire overnight. The process makes me want to vomit. But there is almost always a fall guy and the big wig is untouchable.
And it's not all liberals. Think Perry proved that. Stupid? Did you read what you wrote? Are you on the wrong thread possibly? Here's something to make you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. His foundation from what I understand is funded by several very wealthy people. He has donated approx 36 billion to his foundation while the M and B Gates Foundation now has 46 billion in assets.
So he's able to give that and more but honestly people, he is spending most of his time giving back to the world rather than making money.
He and Warren Buffet started The Giving Pledge in order to give back what they made. Gates plans to give more than half his assets away and Buffet plans to give almost everything he's made at some point in time rather than passing it on after his death.
Haters will always find a way to hate.

There is a great documentary on netflix about him called "Inside Bill's Brain." Watch that and it becomes abundantly clear the guy is trying to do good things with his money. He could hoard it and give it to his spawn and let them squander it... at least if he did that he wouldn't have to endure all the hate.

the sob has cost me 3 computers in the past, 2 pc and one laptop.
I would like 5 mins. to "update" billy boy on my new operating system and how I prevent harmful downloads while uploading on his dam head.
ALL of my saved pictures, gone due to one of his bs forced updates. a lot of them were from guiding hunts and raft trips, GONE!
lost a lot of important to me files on the same update, GONE!
bill can stuff a keyboard where the sun won't provide his solar power for all I care. Hop, if you still have the laptops, pull the drives and get an USB adapter to plug into your desktop. You may can save the pictures and data. And please always back stuff up.
