For someone, in this case a gentleman in a pickup truck, to stop in front of your house and take a picture of said house then drive off. I witnessed this mini phenomenon thru my upstairs office window so there was no way to get downstairs, bust out the front door and ask the creepy mofo

They will mail you an offer to buy your house. I get offers in the mail every week with a card that has a photo of my house on it. 'We Buy Houses" is one . Another I got was "Hi Robert, we would like to buy your house, no closing costs, etc.".

Taxes. They are using your house as a comp to fight their real estate taxes. Or, your insurance company does this from time to time.

This is what we thought Happened to us a couple weeks ago. I saw the guy and was like WTH. Then about 3 days later we get a phone call we'd like to buy your house. I ask were you in a blue SUV in front of my house a few days ago? "Yes sir". Ok what's your offer, he tells me the offer and I say I need 25k more. He said I'll call you back...…………...No phone call yet I'm still trying to figure out how they got my phone #. And I didn't even ask.

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

That’s how google gets their street views I don’t think so, in fact I’ve seen the google camera car go through the neighborhood before. It’s got a multi lens camera on top of it

Now retired, but spent 38 years as an agent for a major insurance company. Depending on a few factors, we were required to take a photo of every home we insured. Had to take another photo of the same home every few years. Photo can show deteriorating roof or other maintenance
problems. It also shows "pride of ownership", yard care etc.
