Go buy Screamin' Eagle SB's by War Eagle and you'll become a believer. They have the 1/4oz blades with a 1/2oz body. Burn 'em, stop 'em, slow roll'em, just hold on.

Stephen M. Fatheree, I cant thank you enough for the great advice. Always nice to learn something new and, in my mind, your post is the essence of what the fishing forum is designed to do- โ€œHelp a person learn to be a better fisherman!!!!!โ€

Thank you very much for the kind words sir, the pleasure is all mine. I've never had other anglers mentor me or take me under their wing throughout my fishing career so I had to learn all of this information myself simply using trial and error which I feel ultimately helped me to become a better angler later in life. From the age of 9 years old I read every Bassmaster Publication available, I watched and then re-watched every tournament episode that was available in the mid-late 90s while taking extensively detailed handwritten notes in addition to reading one professional anglers book after another to obtain as much knowledge in regards to how to become one of the top anglers in the world during my childhood. I now find it extremely rewarding to share my knowledge of bass fishing with other anglers whom want to increase their skills regarding a particular technique. Any professional angler from Gary Klein to Kevin Vandam will admit without hesitation that the learning never stops in this sport, especially in this day and age when the amount of valuable fishing advice is so easy to access online through forums like here on the Texas Fishing Forum, seemingly endless bass fishing video libraries of YouTube Videos from both big name professionals to extremely talented guides, and the next level quality of video production that goes into todays top professional fishing tournaments which is so informative to watch. Thank you again for your comment sir, that was very kind of you to do. I hope it helped you some and if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me directly via my e-mail at s_fatherree@yahoo.com and I will get back with you as soon as possible. I seldom check my messages here on the TFF so e-mail communication is best. Cheers and tight lines!

Respectfully,

War Eagle SB are the bomb. Smoke colored are my favorite.

Nothing better for me than the old Bumper Stumper
They were the best spinnerbait I ever used.

I would like to know what spinnerbait I can throw on Toledo Bend that wonโ€™t break at the wire after half a day? Those fish bend them straight out this time this time of year.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Stanley's products. What I use the most. I even throw a 1/8oz mini and it will tear 'em up at times.

I used to be a straight plastics and jig guy except early spring trapping. I moved to Maine in the 1990's and got pretty tight with a part time guide and fished a couple of times a week with him. He was a master with the SB and I learned a lot from him. Those smallies would smash the SB at times.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Thank you very much for the compliment Ken, I plan on continuing to produce these types of instructional fishing videos in 2021 if I'm able to continue to healing from my injuries during this year. ๐Ÿคž

Love their SB's. Quality product and not over priced.
