The shorter ones turn better but they wobble a bit on the straight away.

They were good tractors at the time. I got rid of a 610 a couple of years ago and a buddy still has his. Like MRR said parts are a problem.

Bunch of them around here. One of the neighbors uses an old 610 in his hay bidness. Other neighbor over to my east kept his 45HP and uses it occasionally (His regular is a 55HP JD).
What you want a tractor that's been out of production 20 years for?
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

What you want a tractor that's been out of production 20 years for? Looking for a older tractor with a front end loader to use on my small acreage. I have a rock driveway and need about about 200 yards of fill dirt brought in . And I want some fork lift capabilities. I have 1973 - model 1900 Ford now that does good job for dragging a box scraper for leveling the drive .

My uncle has a Long 440 from the late '70's or early '80's and it was a beast! Hard to find parts for them so I would avoid them myself.
