 Grapevine SUP fishing last weekend

Put in on the southeast side of Grapevine. Fished all the way from the damn to the ballfields. A couple of 1-3lb largemouths. Only could get them to bite a black jig tight to exposed cover.
Looked for white bass schooling, but no action. Got bored and tossed a frog around the docks at Silver Marinia for fun. Great two days on the lake.

The only one we found was the one next to Scotts Marina and it was a cluster.

The beauty of a SUP park and walk it in. It does limit how much gears and rods but it's easy in and out.
PM me if you have any suggestions on spots a SUP guy can go. I'd love to get to where I am actually catching more than a fish or two a trip

Grapevine is fishing pretty tough right now, so a couple of fish a day ain't terrible. Guessing it will start fishing decent when it gets down another 5 ft or so, as the 10ft deep used to be rock bank is five foot deep and real fishable

It's ok until you get tired. I've dunked a few times after a few hours on the water.
Went out Saturday - what a madhouse! Had to tuck away from the crowds. Think I'll stick to weekday outtings.
