This FB post is from my friends wife who took an 8 week gig in a Jersey hospital.

Looks like NJ and NY are not the best place to receive health care.

All you ever hear of from NY is Covid deaths. It seems everyone is being labeled Covid or they’re just saying how many died.

There’s 18 million people in NYC. 500 people die every day before this [censored] started! So when they say 1000 people died today is that 1000 Covid or 500?

There is so much BS on Facebook I personally don’t believe anything not posted directly by someone I know. By that I mean directly not cut and pastes from somewhere else.

I have a really hard time believing something like this was happening.

Roachie, I have a question. Is this an actual post from your friend's wife or just something that was posted by someone else on FB?

Well then, I'm sorry she had to encounter something like that.

She's pretty mad about not being able to do what she took an oath to do.

I'm not following here. Are you saying she's not being allowed to resuscitate some patients? "Is someone telling her, hey just let that one die, we need to prop up these numbers, these are rookie numbers so far today?"

If we are talking old people, which I would think we are in most cases, tons of them have non resuscitate orders by their own will. It's not super clear to me from this post that's she's alleging any wrong doing.

the state of ny implemented a no resuscitate order, THE STATE OF NY aka the governor and his staff of "experts". no cpr from first responders, no cpr from drs. etc.
this came straight from cuomo, I watched him say it on live tv.

they have reversed the order but not before a lot of folks were allowed to just die. speaks volumes about liberal/socialists and how they think.

I would say the fb post is accurate

Misleading subject line there but unbelievable that NY state issued a DNR order so readily. Glad to read that NYFD and others ignored it.

Thanks Hop. Got it. I had forgotten that. From the link you posted it sounds like most EMS/healthcare workers out there followed their hearts and not a stupid order from the governor.

not really, these are the same people that think it is alright to kill a newborn baby, even after birth happens.
