My Mom and aunties have not got theirs.

My aunt actually called and they said they couldn't give her any information... basically the same message that hop posted. They added if she did not get it this year she could claim it on her taxes and get it on her tax return next year.

now my mom and aunt both do file taxes even though they are on social security because they also get pension checks which requires them to file. my understanding is many people on social security do not have to file taxes. So I'm not sure what that would mean to them.

Nothing here but haven't filed my 2019 return yet. Called my acct and he said that would not affect it as others had received theirs and haven't submitted. Not sure what's up.

They just said of FBN that SS recipients may be a little slower to release the money. Maybe next week

We’re due a small tax refund and two stimulus checks. Nothing at all so far.

I will be on SS next year once retired I am completely against ones already on SS getting any stimulus to me it makes absolutely no sense. If I receive the current stimulus I plan to just send it to my son's family. This whole thing is ridiculous and going to bankrupt the country and very few seem to care.

I feel like it is to stimulate the economy so I have no reservation about accepting the money. If one is stridently opposed it, it would seem reasonable to sent it back to delay the pending bankruptcy.

I agree. I’m not hearing many that are not in favor of this stuff. It’s very surprising to me.

With the inefficient way our government works it would probably cost 5 times as much if someone did return the check. I did not ask for it I don't really need or want it hence I will send it to someone who does. For myself I have not missed one day of work as I work for an essential company same with my wife. We take care of ourselves we don't need hand out money.

Folks who have lost their jobs permanently or just temporarily laid off need help. Small businesses closed need help. I am not against that at all. I just don't see the point in people still working and earning normal salary and same situation for people on SS or any disability. There income has not changed seems dumb to get any stimulus.

believe it or not I too am against bankrupting the country to make a few politicians feel like they "helped" the working class, BUT, if they are going to send out our tax money then why shouldn't I get mine? I paid in for 40+ yrs and have never been given a dam thing by the goobers, I would rather see people on SS get a check to help out than some baby mama sittin on her butt smokin dope and eatin ribeye from her snap card.

for the record, I probably make less a month than 95% of y'all make a week, there are a lot of others on SS that are in the same boat I am money wise (we could use it).

Burns my butt too. How will they have any incentive to go back to their jobs? I have a feeling a lot of them will milk it for all it’s worth. I am considered an “essential’ worker”. I risk my health going into homes or calling on customers and those getting the extra 600.00 dollars a week is make FAR more than I get.
