If you had $100k to invest in the market (mutfunds, stocks, bonds, no futures), what would you buy today?
3 and 10 year time horizons
Moderate appetite for risk

Thanks.

100% stocks. No more than five positions and keep a very close eye on those five. No need to diversify if you know what you're investing in and stay in tune to what is happening with those five companies. Once the stock is up to an acceptable profit number, set a stop-loss in order to maintain profit up to that point then repeat. I could go on for 10,000 words, but I'm not.

Long term I would go airlines. If they can overcome their assets being used as enemy missiles they can overcome a bad bug.

Agree, this isn’t the bottom with 25-30% unemployment
It’ll start hitting the fan when health insurances expire in 2-3 months.

I’d buy incrementally over the next year.

I’m conservative and like low cost no load mutual funds and ETFs that capture a broad sample of the market /diversification with one or three buy orders. I’m not looking to hit a grand slam, but a series of singles with some doubles and a rare triple.

I’m looking at 10-15 more years until the kiddos are completely off the payroll.

This will not be the last pandemic or similar scenario in our near future.

I’d look at market sectors that are not completely shut down in our current economy.

Buy low/sell high

A long term oil/natural gas play is extremely attractive right now. I’d hedge with a natural resource/commodities index
An example would be Vanguard Materials ETF VAW.

Oil long term, airlines quicker return

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

I grabbed $10k of American Airlines the other day. I can't imagine it will be at $11 in 6 months or a year. Seems like a quick way to get 50%-100% returns to me. Govt isn't going to let them go out of business.

Big Tobacco

Government is doing to vaping what they did to cigarettes.

Big Tobacco has R&D’ed a healthier, more PR’ed, friendlier, lobby protected alternative to vaping that will be made available within 18 mos.

A house. I could get them to lower the price because the owner needed the money,
and with the current situations its like putting money in the bank with interest

Online and virtual gambling sure. I don’t see brick and mortar gambling as the future.
