Palomar and then Alberto braid to leader.
I use a variation of a Trilene knot I have been tying since I was a kid on small hooks like flys and when trout fishing. Basically when the eye is too small for two lines to go through it.
See you on the lake and have a great day!

A strange modified clinch knot. 11 times around the loop and back thru the hole twice. I have pulled bats around with this knot. Only knot I use, most of the time. STRONG as an ox and still goes thru the water okay. Test at over 200 % or line weight. Knot I made up myself, so it is UNIQUE to me. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Uni or Double Uni all I use
FG for connections (*FG is the strongest knot you can tie, stronger than any lure connection knot - Therefore, you will break your lure/hook off and get to keep your leader)

What knot do I use for fishing? Da! A “fisherman’s knot” of course. Learned this from my father at a very young age(he’s 86 now and still kicking!) and it has served me very well for so many years: ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/04/full-34948-48090-2f199d60_6172_4af2_9942_0891714fc980.png)
