 New boat and trailer registration.

All government offices are closed so????? I am going to pull my trailer to pick up my boat and I am hitting the water. Hard to register new toys if they are closed.

If it's new the dealer should supply you with a temporary TX card.

Its a Harbor freight trailer and a Pelican Bass Raider 10'2" boat from bass Pro...lol..The trailer I have a certificate of ownership. Not sure yet what BP is going to give me. I pick it up this week with my untitled trailer..lol

you will get a temporary tag, cert. of origin and ownership and warranty.
academy does the same thing on jon boats. last I read if you don't have a motor on it on public waters you don't need registration, put a trolling motor on and you do.

Did my boat trailer tags online this month...had the new sticker in about 10 days...did both vehicle registrations online about 10 days ago and had new decals in less than a week. Someone is working at their offices in Austin I guess.

You have until 60 days after the offices re-open to get the registration done.
Keep copies of purchase receipts you should be good to go.
