The eagerly awaited 6OG Raffle Trips are now set.
We are now beginning a new year with many varied activities.
Last year the Raffle Trips were a major success for the Geezer Folks out there in our quest to help fishing on Lake Texoma as much as possible. The Raffle trips contributed over $3,300 to the purchase of the boats for Texas and Oklahoma. This money then was matched by about $10,000 from the Federal Govt. making the total contribution almost $14,000 for this activity alone. So this is what we have planed for this year in the way of Trip Raffles.
There are a few changes from last year so please read this carefully. There will be 5 trips this year, one of those trips will be with Trent Barnes for a Lake Lewisville Hybrid trip on Friday July 27th. The dates of the other 4 trips will be between the winner and the guide donating the trip.
The Guided Trips will be with the following: Trent Barnes End of May Drawing J.D. Lyle End of June Drawing Ricky Sproat End of July Drawing James Allen End of August Drawing Mark Macnamara End of September Drawing
The cost of the Raffle Tickets will be as follows: 250 Tickets for each of the trips.
Single Ticket $5.00
Packet of 5 Tickets $20.00 These tickets can be any guide that the purchaser desires as long as there are tickets available for the desired trips. For instance if you want 1 ticket for each of the trips or 3 tickets for guide J and 2 for guide R just let me know and that is what you will get.
Packet of 5 Tickets for all 5 of the trips $95.00
Packet of 5 Tickets for the 4 Texoma Trips $75.00
Raffle Rules: On each order please be sure to include your Name, Address, Phone Number(s) and email address in order for me to contact you later.
Tickets will be mailed back to the purchaser only if the buyer includes a self addressed stamped envelope with their order.
When I receive an order I will enter your order on a spread sheet along with the ticket numbers for that order. Those tickets will then be put into an envelope for the appropriate raffle. When it is time to draw for that raffle I will get a completely neutral third party do the drawing. I will notify the winner in the best way possible as soon as possible. I will also post the winners name on the 6OG and TFF message boards.
Periodically during the contests I will send a copy of the spread sheets to both Curtis Howell and Ron Ludwig just in case something were to happen to me or my computer as back up sites.
Since we are unable to accept Credit Cards so all entries need to be in the form of a check, Money Order or Cash.
Please Mail all entries to

you all doing the bait tank raffle again this year?
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Maybe we ought to get some of last year's winners to chime in here with reports from their trips! I know I had Jeff & Aaron Edelen in my boat. We fished Sassys on Aaron's birthday, and had trouble getting fish small enough to keep! mark www.texomasportfishing.com

Hey folks we still have some raffle tickets available for these great trips.
The first trip raffle will be closing later this week so you still have time to get in on the action for these trips.
JD's trip is coming up next surely you would want a great trip from him or any of the other guides.
Please see my earlier post on how to get in on this great action and all monies go to helping Lake Texoma and only there.

Well I would get in on that brew note, but I am already in. Maybe I can get lucky this year and win one of these trips. I could go for some hybrid action, .
