Rules:
1. One fish entry per angler; every angler is their own team. This is a single, big fish tournament format. Every angler will only send in one fish. Once that angler has sent in an entry, they are NOT allowed to enter another fish later in the day. More than one person can fish on a boat, but it's every angler for themsleves.
2. Fish must be photographed on a ruler for length measurement, with the given code word written on the angler's hand in the picture. The code word will be posted at 6:00am the morning of the tournament on the Facebook pages of all affiliates/sponsors of this tournament. A 5-10 second video of the fish being actively weighed on the scale must also be sent in with the length measurement. Fish pictures/videos must be turned in by 5pm central time on tournament day via email to lane.palmer86@yahoo.com.
3. All photos are to be sent in to lane.palmer86@yahoo.com or posted. Entries sent in any other place will not be counted.
4. All fish must be legally caught. Check your respective state's regulations for further details.
5. Fishing can be conducted in any legal manner, including but not limited to: boats, canoes, kayaks, docks, the shore, innertubes and waders.
6. Anglers can use any type of bait they prefer, whether it be live or artificial, as long as it’s legal to do so in their respective state.
7. There are no “off-limits” rules, you just can’t enter fish not caught during tournament hours.
8. Don’t Cheat.
9. Have Fun.
This tournament was designed and developed with the mindset of offering crappie anglers a fun way to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. The crappie fishing tournament scene has been put on hold due to all the health concerns that have been raised across the country, and we feel this is a great way to keep your skills as an angler sharp. This is also a great way for anglers to still compete with other fishermen, while at the same time maintaining a safe amount of distance from others.
Let’s keep this fun and honest, as there are quite a few companies stepping up to support the crappie fishing community at a time in our country that we could all use a good distraction. Get out on the water, catch a big fish and win some great prizes in the process. Thanks to all our sponsors for making this happen and good luck to all participants!
