Close to where I live—Cattleack in Farmer’s Branch is great. Meshacks’s in Garland is also very good
Pecan Lodge downtown wins lots of awards. Ten50 in Richardson is good.
Little farther away, Hutchins is the best in Collincounty

A few months ago, I would have said FTW and not even given anyone but 407 a shot. But I had Smoke Sessions in Royse City for the first time a few weeks ago and he is giving 407 a run for his money. Both make great bbq. I vote a tie.

Heck we had Rudy's BBQ from the Western Center location today. Their turkey and brisket rocked like always. That location steadily kicks out some top notch Q especially for a chain. Its probably the best location food wise of theirs I have tried. That location and Meat U Anywhere BBQ are my two go to places here.
