Just looking for some tips, I've been fishing a lot more recently. The lakes I'm fishing all the fish are up against the bank in the rip rap and other stuff. It's shallow, 1-3 feet. The only luck I've had is running spinner baits along the edges and attracting the more feisty ones.
I've used a Texas rig worm and tube a lot fishing parallel to the shore and trying to get up on the shoreline, but have had NO success... What's the secret?

Try a small topwater lure like a tiny torpedo or a frog. Also a small rattle trap. If you really want to see what is there, throw out a whole earthworm lol..

I'm more of a pond fisherman, but I have the best luck with a wacky rigged Senko, or a weightless mega lizard.

I recently caught a bass sight fishing using a crappie jig with attached spinner blade and Gulp Worm. I tossed out a few times letting it drop to bottom and hop a few times.

Try Justin Jefferson and Jamar Chase, they catch things extremely well. Thadeus Moss isn't too bad either. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Try a weightless senko texas rigged or wacky rigged. Just let it sink and that’s it, that requires the least amount of skill and can be a bit boring but it works great in ponds.
