You are correct, only the boat lane was in front of the boat in front of him. We are back in the area of the old Pine Cove, other side of big eddy bay in the northern stump field. That boat in front of me was fishing on one of the big PVC boat lane markers for the corner. People run fast in the boat lane and slow down when another boat is approaching as it is only about 50-60 feet wide between the bank and the stump field, but yes, this guy just cut acrross. Figured he could not see them so they are not there. haha. The funny think is that there is a sandbar about 10 feet from where he went that would have stopped him. Oh well, it happens. Glad you know the area. The fish have been good there, but moving out. Just got back and caught 20 big ones in the mouth of the lake and ledbetter at about 20 ft.

That area he was running is DANGEROUS!

The one place that concerns me the most on Lake Palestine is just south of there by the last few docks...Blind spot with timber on the outside of boat run..VERY DANGEROUS in my opinion..

I know where you are talking about Tom. I am pretty ok with going slow!!!! Watched another boat do the same thing, cutting throw those stumps a couple weeks ago. More people need your map!!!! I watched one yesterday going full speed right across the stump field North of 155 bridge. He came under about middle bridge and took off towards the East point. I actually stopped my boat to listen for him to hit one. He got lucky.
