1/2 ounce mini ike flip jig black and blue. Small profile that catches all size fish. I threw every jig known to man and just didn't have confidence. Finally started throwing this smaller profile jig and some days wear the bass out. Also had dry patches on a jig as well.

I would choose a 1/2 oz black and blue colored flipping style jig with a recessed line tie and fairly pointed/rounded head design so that you can use this jig to flip into lightly matted vegetation or if it's not too windy you can use it with success offshore in 25'+. In regards to a trailer I would recommend using a Yamamoto Flappin hog since the density of that plastic will help the lure fall faster and give you a better feel when dragging it across the bottom in deeper water during windy days offshore. It is also a wide enough trailer to be able to have some nail weights placed into therefore giving you a heavier jig for offshore techniques. A black and blue colored jig works across the nation from the gin clear waters in upstate New York fisheries to the dirty water we often face here in the southern United States.

Respectfully,

Stephen Fatherree

1/16oz. Bladed Crappie Jig Heads. Put a green grub with curly tail and Gulp earthworm, I'll be set for life.

I like the phenix all purpose. Caught a monster bag on Somerville the first time I used it

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!
