I have only been to this lake about 5 times. I would really appreciate if someone had navigation map that outlines hazards beyond what is on Navionics.
To the report.
Backs of pockets throwing light weight wacky rig. Black blue. Slow. Usually working out to 5ft.

Got on a wind blown secondary point. White bass mixed in with largemouth. Caught about 10 largemouth there. One 3+. Best bait was Flashy swimmer with shad hollow body paddle tail. Chatterbait natural color. Spinnerbait chartreuse. And flat sided sq bill shad pattern. All produced bites. The key was aggressive reel reel pause retrieve.

Water was stained. Wind was calm. Could not see bed fish. Water temps mid to upper 60s.

What length swim bait were you on? With the weather being cold wondering if the smaller swim bait with 3/0 hook would be better than the larger 6/0 Flashy

Good report, I grew on Lavon and it seems to be by far the best spinnerbait lake I've ever had the opportunity to fish. A spinnerbait seems to work nearly year round on those waters. Thank you for sharing!
