How do you keep soft baits from slipping on the hook? Specifically the off set and eye.

Best trick I've seen is getting some tiny black zip ties to secure it. I haven't tried that but it seems like a good idea.

You can order the O-Rings in a small size for worms. It is usually used for fish the worm wacky style; putting the ring in the middle of the worm. Just slip it over the nose of the worm for the application you are wanting it for.

I have also stuck a tooth pick through the head of the worm and the line tie of the hook. Take the clippers and snip it off on each side.

Take a look at the Gamakatsu skip jack worm hook-these work better than anything I've tried. They're on TW

All of the above mentioned comments are good ways to secure the head of your soft plastics on the eye without slipping further down the hook shank. If you are having most of these problems with your Texas Rigged soft plastics I recommend placing a bobber stopper or two on your line that will be between the eye of your hook and underneath your weight. This will help keep the weight from placing pressure on the plastic during your cast and throughout the retrieve. These stoppers will also allow you to create a Carolina Rigged lure by simply moving the stoppers further up your line. Another thing to try is to place your hook point a bit further back into your soft plastics in order to prevent tension on the plastic, just make sure that your soft plastics are fairly straight after rigged. I hope this helps!
Respectfully,
